Important & Exciting Crocs Info for this Week!

    Crocs,

Please find a few important and exciting pieces of info below!

First, be sure to register your swimmers for this week's meet! The deadline to register your swimmer for this Saturday's home meet is TONIGHT at 11:59pm!

Next, thank you for your generous donations to the Crocs Cafe. If you would like to make a contribution, you can view the options HERE. Thank you for bringing your items to practice tomorrow so that we can prepare for our home meet on Saturday!

*Take a moment to check the gear that has come home with your swimmer! If your swimmer has accidentally grabbed a bag, goggles, or any other item that belongs to another swimmer, please be sure to bring them to practice so that we can get them back to their rightful home*

Exciting announcement! This year, your Crocs will be participating in making a very special wish come true, as we swim for Make-A-Wish Colorado. For more than a decade, The Crocs have made a meaningful impact on families in our community. We are so thankful to have an opportunity this year to partner with Make-A-Wish Colorado in hopes of granting a life-changing wish for a child in Colorado with a critical illness. Below is information about our initiative, as well as one of the many wishes available to grant.

    Fundraising Dates: June 4 - June 19th

Swimathon: During Practice on Friday, June 13

Pancake Breakfast: After you swim, swimmers can enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast made by the Castle Crocs Coaches!

Here is How Swimmers and Families Can Support:

Swimmers will be raising money to help grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses through Make-A-Wish Colorado.

    • From June 4th to June 19th, swimmers can collect donations by reaching out to friends, neighbors, and family or even by doing extra chores to donate on their own!
    • On June 13th, swimmers will swim during practice to give back, one lap at a time.
    • Because we have such a large team, we’re encouraging swimmers to collect flat donations (a set amount) instead of donations per lap.
    • If your swimmer can’t make it to the Swimathon, we still encourage them to collect donations for Make-A-Wish since every dollar counts and can make a big impact in another child’s life.

If your swimmer hasn’t received any donations by June 13th (donations can still be collected through June 19th), we still encourage them to come and swim for a great cause since this event it’s about team spirit and community impact!

    Here's How It Adds Up:

The average cost to grant a wish for a child with a critical illness is $7,500. Together, Castle Crocs can make a powerful impact!

    If each swimmer raises just...

    • $38 – we could grant 1 wish as a team
    • $75 – we could grant 2 wishes as a team
    • $113 – we could grant 3 wishes as a team

Every dollar makes a difference. Let’s show what the Crocs can do when we come together!

    Important Details:

    • All donations are made online only through our team’s fundraising page so there is no need to collect cash or checks.
    • To use the online fundraising page, visit:

    • Make-A-Wish Colorado has set up a donation page for each of our swimmers. Swimmers are listed alphabetically within their age group. Use CTRL/COMMAND + F to quickly find a specific name. Once you find your swimmer’s page, you may want to copy their URL to share with donors.
    • Donations can be made through your swimmer’s page until Wednesday, June 19th at 11:00 AM.

We’ll celebrate our top fundraisers during our pep rally on Friday, June 20th and award prizes!
